My Fairies have gone camping. Who says Fairies don’t play corn hole ? I made a little campfire with a tealight candle and glued some wood together. I created marshmallows out of old pencil erasers. I painted them with glow in the dark paint. They are so cute ! The skewers are made from paper clips. The corn hole boards were scrap wood that I painted & I made the bean bags out of tape. The birds nest is an acorn. The lampost is a dowel rod and a white knob that I painted with glow in the dark paint. It lights up pretty well, but impossible to get a decent picture ! I had these little porcelain round thingys I painted red & did white polka dots and glued a little base on for the table. The stools are little wooden knobs I painted. Perfect table for fairies. The clothes line is just wire and plant markers. The Tutu’s are ribbon. I really like the tiny clothes pins. I made a grill from an idea I seen on pinterest from Dollarstorecrafts from a plastic gumball machine. I planted a miniature hosta for now.
The pictures don’t do her justice ! It is so pretty at night with the lights flickering. I used moss in the bottom of the jar and painted the inside of it with glitter. It just sparkles. It’s impossible to get a good photo of it at night. Not to mention I am a terrible photographer. I used transfer on stickers on the bottom of the jar. The lights are fairy lights from hobby lobby. I didn’t want the ugly wire to show so I wrapped it in silver & gold ribbon. I feel guilty looking at her in the jar I want to set her free !
Fairy Circus Garden I only bought one thing for this whole project. I paid 7.00 for the Ferris Wheel on ebay. Everything else I already had or made. I couldn’t believe the train track I had fit perfectly. I used red tape to make the stripes on the container. My fairy Doll is made from little spools. I already had it but , I added a flower petal skirt and wings and clown nose of course.
My swing ride that I made. I wanted something that would actually spin. I used a cd holder and painted it and used the plastic clear cd as the top I covered the top in paper and modge podge with beads. . It spins !! The little swings flip out like a real ride. I was so proud. I made the little swings from foam. It took some tinkering. I added the gold knob on top to make it easier to spin.
Here is my version of the Globe of Death. Free from a garage sale and borrowed the motorcycle from my son. Free printables from Balloonred.blogspot.com
Fairies have invaded our bookcase !I was inspired by The Ann Arbor Library in Michigan.
In the summer we have a Fairy Garden but, we are missing our fun fairy stuff this winter, so the Fairies came inside and made themselves at home in our library. I used cigar boxes for 3 of the books. One of them is a real book I took apart. I have battery operated tea lights in the tops of the books. They are so cute ! I covered them with scrapbook paper.

I added a few things to my fairy garden.New Mini Hostas and Irish Moss. I want some Mini Daisy’s but, I haven’t ordered them yet. I made a shepards hook out of metal and spray painted it black. I used tacks and painted them red with white dots for toadstools. I made a clothes line with wire and metal plant markers. I love the little clothes pins ! I found those at Hobby Lobby. See my rock with eyes ? Check out all the great fairy gardens in the 2013 Fairy Garden Contest at Magic Onions ! I entered.
